Memorial Community Centre Arena

 



The Memorial Community Centre Arena was opened in 1963 and renovated in 1974 to host events for the Canada Winter Games. The winter Arena season runs from October 1 to March 31 and offers a wide variety of tournaments, games, drop-in opportunities and special events.

Memorial Community Centre Arena Features

  • Public and Family skating are free during the 2015/16 winter season thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Royal Canadian Legion, Rotary Club, Napi Friendship Centre and Pincher Creek Co-op
  • private parties and rentals available
  • in the off season, the facility is available for trade-shows, farmers markets and concerts

Out of Town Tournaments 
We have a fabulous facility and are happy to host out of town tournaments.  Our community has partnered together to create some hockey specific deals and discounts to encourage you to come experience to the famous southern Alberta hospitality that the Town of Pincher Creek offers.  Our 2015 Tournament Package is available by clicking here or by contacting our Recreation Office on 403 627 4322.

Alberta Premier Rachel Notely was in Pincher Creek today, Friday January 20, 2017 to announce new boundaries for the expanded Castle Wildland Provincial Park and the new Castle Provincial Park.

The Town of Pincher Creek is one of ten communities in Southern Alberta to receive funding through the Government of Canada’s Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program.   The Town of Pincher Creek will receive federal funding in the amount of $463 000 to enhance the Pincher Creek Multi-Purpose Facility though the addition of a spray park pad, water re-circulation system, waterslide and landscaping.  The facility enhancement will be installed to the north of the multi-purpose facility.
