2023 Pincher Creek Calendar
We would love to include your event in the 2023 calendar!  The concept is simple however it will take some forward planning to get your event included!

Cost to be included: $0.00
What you need to send us:
Short event name (for example Pro Rodeo)
Confirmed event date (January 2023 through to December 2023)

When we need it by:  October 31, 2022

*Who/what can be included:  Special events that are open to the public, regular programming will not be included, businesses and organization from the Town &/MD of Pincher Creek only please.  Retail sales will not be included.
 
 For more information or if you have questions, please contact Marie at the Town Office.
 
*The Town of Pincher Creek will have final decision on the events that are listed on the calendar, submissions received after the deadline will not be included.

Calendar Photo Contest Consent Form
 
Submit your photo to be featured in the Town’s calendar by October 31st!
 
Send us your images that represent the heritage, culture, recreation, people, and our areas natural beauty for a chance to win!
                                                                                     
Grand Prize – Cover Photo!
 
If your image is selected for the front cover photo, you will win $200 and the bragging rights of having your images featured on the cover and as a monthly image!
 
Runner-Up Prize – Monthly Images
 
All other images selected to be featured in the calendar will get photo credit for the 2023 Community Calendar!
 
Submission Rules:
 
·         Submissions will be accepted until 10:00pm on October 31, 2022.
·         Participation in the Contest constitutes the Entrants’ full and unconditional agreement to abide by the Contest Rules and Regulations, and the final decisions in all matters related to the contest
·         Images must be high resolution (min 2MB)
·         Landscape photos work best
·         Images must be taken within the Pincher Creek area (Town, MD and all villages within)
·         Submit your image to submit@pinchercreek.ca  (images can be submitted using this email address to Drop Box, Google Drive, etc. if too large to email)
·         Images can also be dropped off at the Town office or Recreation Office attention Marie on a USB flash drive during regular business hours at 962 St. John Ave
·         A signed copy of this form (pg. 2) must be submitted with your photo 
 
 
  
Terms:
 
·         I understand that if any of the images I am submitting are selected as winning images, they become the property of the Town of Pincher Creek and I hereby consent to the use of and grant permission for use in Town of Pincher Creek publications, including the 2023 Community Calendar, advertisements, audio-visual presentations, website, social media sites, and other materials, produced for the purpose of public information and promotion of the Town of Pincher Creek programs and services
·         I confirm the image(s) submitted were taken in the Town of Pincher Creek, MD of Pincher Creek or the villages and spaces within.
·         I confirm that I have the rights to the submitted images and they were taken with permission from the property owner or in a public space
·         I authorize the Town of Pincher Creek to use any image(s) I have submitted that contain people.  I am providing permission on behalf of someone other than myself, and I warrant I have the authority to do so
·         Images may be reproduced by the Town and anyone it has authorized without compensation or payment to the individual(s) being recorded or any other person

Road Closure | Beverly McLachlin Dr | May 1-2
April 25, 2024
Beverly McLachlin Drive will be closed between Frederick Street and Adelaide Street from May 1 to May 2 to allow for the installation of a utility services.

Please use extreme caution when travelling near construction workers and obey all barricades and detours.
PRESS RELEASE – STAGE 1 WATER RESTRICTION IN EFFECT
April 24, 2024
April 24, 2024 - For immediate release – On Monday, April 22, 2024, Town Council passed the amended Water Utility Bylaw. Changes to the bylaw include the trigger points for enacting water restrictions in the Town of Pincher Creek. This update was requested by the province as part of the Town of Pincher Creek’s Drought Management Plan.
 
The Town of Pincher Creek has moved from Stage 2 Water Restriction to Stage 1 Voluntary Water Conservation effective April 24, 2024 based on the Water Utility Bylaw 1631-24 revisions of April 22, 2024.
NOTICE OF DISPOSITION OF LAND FOR LESS THAN MARKET VALUE

Council for the Town of Pincher Creek has accepted an offer from Link Builders for the purchase of 656 Charlotte Street, 655 Main Street, and 659 Maint Street for a total of $50,000.
