Parks & Recreation Month:

June is Recreation & Parks Month. Pincher Creek has so many things to do and see. Watch for the many fun activities we have going this month.
 
 
Scavenger Hunt
QR code scavenger hunt, start at the pool and enjoy this hunt that will get you out and exploring Pincher Creek! 




Where is Sprint Hunt

Sprint has come out from a hiatus from the past 2 years and wants to celebrate Parks & Recreation Month. Follow our weekly hints as to where he might be hanging out, bring him in for some great prizes.

Bicycle Bingo
We celebrate all things that involve staying active. It is Canada Environment Week and what better way to explore our own environment by active transportation. Complete a line of Bike Bingo, take a pic and send it to the Recreation Office for some cool swag. rec@pinchercreek.ca





Parks Passport 

Stop by the Recreation office and pick up a parks passport, this "passport" will lead you on an adventure around Town exploring all our playgrounds, parks and some of our outdoor spaces!

Backyard Kits 
Let us help to keep you active. Borrow one of our activity kits when the grandkids, friends and family come over. Can be used throughout the summer.



Tennis Courts 
Do you enjoy tennis?  The Pincher Creek tennis courts are located behind the swimming pool and can be pre-booked by calling Rhonda at the Rec office.   Rackets and balls available to borrow. 



 


Beach Volleyball Court
Get a group together and come out to play some beach volleyball! To reserve the court please call the Recreation Office 403 627 4322 or rec@pinchercreek.ca


 

Disc Golf Lending 
18 custom designed baskets are waiting for you to play in Pincher Creek!  Find out all the information and see the holes on http://galeforcediscgolf.ca/  

If you don't have discs, no problem!  The Receration office has a few sets to lend out- connect with the Rec team for more info. 


& of course don't forget our Swimming Pool, Spray Park, Bike Park & Skate Park , Playgrounds , Ornamental Parks and so much more!

Road Closure | Beverly McLachlin Dr | May 1-2
April 25, 2024
Beverly McLachlin Drive will be closed between Frederick Street and Adelaide Street from May 1 to May 2 to allow for the installation of a utility services.

Please use extreme caution when travelling near construction workers and obey all barricades and detours.
PRESS RELEASE – STAGE 1 WATER RESTRICTION IN EFFECT
April 24, 2024
April 24, 2024 - For immediate release – On Monday, April 22, 2024, Town Council passed the amended Water Utility Bylaw. Changes to the bylaw include the trigger points for enacting water restrictions in the Town of Pincher Creek. This update was requested by the province as part of the Town of Pincher Creek’s Drought Management Plan.
 
The Town of Pincher Creek has moved from Stage 2 Water Restriction to Stage 1 Voluntary Water Conservation effective April 24, 2024 based on the Water Utility Bylaw 1631-24 revisions of April 22, 2024.
NOTICE OF DISPOSITION OF LAND FOR LESS THAN MARKET VALUE
April 17, 2024
Council for the Town of Pincher Creek has accepted an offer from Link Builders for the purchase of 656 Charlotte Street, 655 Main Street, and 659 Maint Street for a total of $50,000.
