Climate change & energy management are growing topics of debate and concern for Albertans and Canadians. Everyone is constantly inundated with buzzwords and new/shifting information on the topics.
 
The Municipal Energy Project Lead has together a short community challenge quiz as an engaging way to learn about these types of issues with a local focus!

  • It’s a short (fun!) multiple choice quiz (9 questions) on Climate Change and GHG Emissions with a focus on Pincher Creek/Alberta

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?

  • Once you’ve reached the last question the screen will indicate “your responses have been recorded”

Road Closure | Beverly McLachlin Dr | May 1-2

Beverly McLachlin Drive will be closed between Frederick Street and Adelaide Street from May 1 to May 2 to allow for the installation of a utility services.

PRESS RELEASE – STAGE 1 WATER RESTRICTION IN EFFECT
April 24, 2024
April 24, 2024 - For immediate release – On Monday, April 22, 2024, Town Council passed the amended Water Utility Bylaw. Changes to the bylaw include the trigger points for enacting water restrictions in the Town of Pincher Creek. This update was requested by the province as part of the Town of Pincher Creek’s Drought Management Plan.
 
The Town of Pincher Creek has moved from Stage 2 Water Restriction to Stage 1 Voluntary Water Conservation effective April 24, 2024 based on the Water Utility Bylaw 1631-24 revisions of April 22, 2024.
