LOCAL JURISDICTION: TOWN OF PINCER CREEK, Province of Alberta
 
Notice is hereby given:
 
  1. That an election will be held for the filling of the following offices
Number of Vacancies
 
MAYOR                                                                     1 (one)
COUNCILLOR                                                           6 (six)
 
 
  1. That an election will be held for the election of a Senate nominee for the purposes of the Alberta Senate Election Act:
 
  1. That a vote of the electors will be held on the following referendum questions(s) under the Referendum Act:
  1. EQUALIZATION PAYMENTS      ii) DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME
 
Voting will take place on the 18th day of October, 2021 between the hours of 10:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M.  Voting station will be located at:
 TOWN HALL GYM, 962 St. JOHN AVENUE, PINCHER CREEK, ALBERTA
 
ADVANCE POLL will take place on the 13th day of October, 2021 between the hours of 10:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. at the Town Hall Gym, 962 St. John Avenue, Pincher Creek , Alberta
 
In order to vote you must produce identification for inspection. The identification must be identification issued by a Canadian Government that contains a photograph of the elector and a piece of identification with his or her name with the physical address as required by section 53 of the Local Authorities Election Act.

PRESS RELEASE – STAGE 1 WATER RESTRICTION IN EFFECT
April 24, 2024
April 24, 2024 - For immediate release – On Monday, April 22, 2024, Town Council passed the amended Water Utility Bylaw. Changes to the bylaw include the trigger points for enacting water restrictions in the Town of Pincher Creek. This update was requested by the province as part of the Town of Pincher Creek’s Drought Management Plan.
 
The Town of Pincher Creek has moved from Stage 2 Water Restriction to Stage 1 Voluntary Water Conservation effective April 24, 2024 based on the Water Utility Bylaw 1631-24 revisions of April 22, 2024.
