TOWN OF PINCHER CREEK MASK MANDATE TO ALLIGN WITH PROVINCE MANDATE

At the Monday, June 28 Council meeting Council for the Town of Pincher Creek unanimously passed three readings of the Obsolete and Redundant Repeal Bylaw No. 1628-21 for the purpose to repeal the Temporary Mandatory Face Coverings Bylaw, Bylaw No. 1628-20.  

This bylaw comes into effect on the day the rescinded Alberta public health orders regarding, gatherings, activities, masking and business restrictions, and Public Health Orders comes into effect. 

At this time, the Province of Alberta has announced that the general indoor provincial mask mandate will be lifted, but masking may still be required in limited and specific settings as of July 1, 2021.

April 24, 2024 - For immediate release – On Monday, April 22, 2024, Town Council passed the amended Water Utility Bylaw. Changes to the bylaw include the trigger points for enacting water restrictions in the Town of Pincher Creek. This update was requested by the province as part of the Town of Pincher Creek’s Drought Management Plan.
 
The Town of Pincher Creek has moved from Stage 2 Water Restriction to Stage 1 Voluntary Water Conservation effective April 24, 2024 based on the Water Utility Bylaw 1631-24 revisions of April 22, 2024.
