Garage Sales allowed as of June 12

UPDATE JUNE 11, 2020

As of Friday, June 12 Garage Sales will be permitted in the Town of Pincher Creek.  The Town of Pincher Creek would like to encourage garage sale holders to follow all recommended guidelines provided on www.alberta.ca/covid  to help prevent the spread.   Questions, call 403 627 3156.

Entering into Spring, many people plan a sale to move the stuff that's been piling up in their house, yard or garage. However, garage sales have many high touch items and enable an environment for mass gatherings, both of which could promote the spread of COVID-19. The current Provincial Public Health Ministerial Order (https://www.alberta.ca/restrictions-on-gatherings.aspx) prevents mass gatherings in an attempt to limit activates that could promote disease transmission.
As such, the Town of Pincher Creek will not be issuing garage sale permits, other municipal areas will be monitored.
