Temporary Water Quality Standards
July 5, 2019The Town of Pincher Creek is committed to providing safe, clean and reliable water to residents at all times. Water in Pincher Creek meets or exceeds the Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality as set out by Health Canada which includes any residents that have to go on temporary water planned or unplanned. When a temporary line is used that water must meet or exceed these same standards before it is connected to a residence. The process of flushing the lines, sampling and testing is done continually throughout any planned or unplanned temporary water situation.
