LOCAL STATE OF EMERGENCY - PRESS RELEASE

The Council for the Town of Pincher Creek has declared a state of LOCAL EMERGENCY at 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2010.

Due to heavy rainfall conditions, the town sew3age system is functioning at full capacity.  Local residents are requested to minimize water usage resulting in further addition to the sewer system.

Be assured - the potable water is completely safe and unaffected by the present situation.

The Town is continually monitoring the situation and working aggressively to resolve all concerns.
